Hybrid warfare is a military strategy that blends conventional warfare, irregular warfare and cyberwarfare. These are tactics which are part of Russian military doctrine and have been successfully used against Ukraine. Being so new and so successful, hybrid warfare is difficult to defeat. The US Army has begun training to counter hybrid threats and this manual provides doctrinal guidance on how an opposing force might exploit the hybrid threat model in use against US forces for training.
